Tea Tip of the Week
Rooibos is not actually tea. It is a caffeine-free tisane which comes from an evergreen shrub which grows in Africa. What you are infusing are the actual needles of the plant. Rooibos is reported to have anti-viral and anti-mutagenic properties.
Makeupmorph suggested that we create a fig flavored rooibos, and though it took me a while to get everything we needed to create this blend, I hope you will agree that it was worth the wait. Here then is our fig flavored African rooibos with real dried fig pieces, real cinnamon and all natural flavors. Enjoy!

I was quite excited to see this in my mailbox today! Even though I try not to have too many pouches of tea open (how many is too many?) I decided that this crisp cold day deserved a nice cuppa this rooibos. It is delicious! The cinnamon and fig pieces make it nice to look at, mixed in with the red rooibos and the fig flavor is sweet, so I did not add any sweetener. So glad I made the decision to up my weekly pouches to two each week, rather than just one. This will not be around long! I may need to order more. Thanks for another fine tea.
