52teas is growing rapidly, but we are still just a drop in the vast ocean of the Internet, and we need your help spreading the word.

Between now and March 31st, 2010, collect points for taking action to help spread the word about 52teas.com.  Whoever collects the most points by the deadline, will win a free 52 week subscription to our Tea of the Week Plan.

Here’s how it works:

5 Points

for every confirmed valid social bookmark link.  This includes sharing our posts on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Digg, Buzz, De.licio.us, etc.  PLEASE NOTE:  In order to be valid, you must link to a CURRENT (Not out of stock) inventory item or post (this one included) on our site.  Limit one link per ITEM or post per site per person.  (Sharing our Gingerbread Rooibos 20 times on Facebook is worth 5 points.  Sharing it on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Digg is worth 20 points.) Confirmation via link or screenshot.

10-100 Points

for each confirmed valid review or blog post regarding 52teas or our teas.  This includes writing comments on our teas on our site, recording “Tasting Notes” on Steepster.com or writing reviews for other tea review websites.  It also includes blog posts on your own personal or tea-related blog. As stated for the social bookmark link, your post, comment or review should be regarding a current item or post and is likewise limited to one post, comment or review per item or post per website. Reviews do not need to be favorable. We are looking for honesty and effort more than anything. Confirmation via link or screenshot.

100 Points

for each valid confirmed first time customer referral. First time customer MUST include the name of the person who referred them in the “Special Instructions” area during checkout.

All points must be claimed via email.

Send us an email at tea4ayear@52teas.com with confirmation of what you did to earn your points, and we will reply with how many points were awarded to you and what your current total points are.
