06.21.10 You Put The…
…lime in the coconut and you blend it with green yerba mate, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lemongrass and natural flavors, and you have one delicious beverage!
I know I promised some folks a honeybush blend this week, but I’m working out a few more details on that blend–stay tuned. For this week, we have a truly unique and delicious blend of green yerba mate with lime/lemon and coconut. This is really delicious as an iced tea, the creamy notes of the coconut and the tangy citrus notes do battle for the attention of your tastebuds. I had a big icy stein of this earlier and it’s really, really delicious. You’re not going to want to miss out on this one.
If you are not familiar with Yerba Mate, you might want to read what we wrote about it here.

Incidentally, I am going to TRY offering the tea in two- and four- ounce quantities. This is a bit of an experiment for me to see how it goes. You can get one two ounce pouch for $7.99 or two pouches for $12.99. At least until we start running low on pouches, then it might go back to just two ounce pouches.
Hurry! Only 9 left!

So, we really want you to subscribe to our email newsletter, and we want you to read the posts we send you. I may not be John Grisham, but I think I write some pretty stirring prose about our teas.
So, our free pouch giveaway contest is going to change. From now on, one or more of our posts each month may contain an invitation like the one below. You must actually have the post in your email inbox to reply to in order to win, so if you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to fill in your name and email address under the “Join Our Mailing List” section on our website. You can opt-out any time you like.

Congratulations to last week’s winner, Jessica E., who won a free pouch of tea from 52teas!

From all of the correct responses we receive, I will select a winner at random using a random number generator and a count of all of the correct replies. This week’s trivia challenge:
In 2005, Coca-Cola used the Harry Nilsson song “Coconut” to promote their Diet Coke with Lime, altering the signature verse to “put the lime in the coke, you nut”. Name three other acts who have covered the song “Coconut”.
