Chris, most of our pouches contain enough tea to make 20-25 8oz cups of tea, one teaspoon per cup. We sell in 2oz. quantities because our customer base is largely comprised of folks who like to try new and different teas. With us making something new and different every week, larger pouches would leave people with a lot of tea. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

2 oz. doesn't sound like very much. I noticed that you sell the T-sacs in packs of 20. So I am guessing that one order can make 20 average (8-12 oz, one table spoon of leaf) cups of tea.

Am I estimating correctly, or at least in the ball park?

We don't like to blend less than one pound at a time. That said, we typically require enough demand to sell one pound's worth of pouches. Alternatively, if you REALLY want a given blend and will commit to buying one pound of a tea in bulk, we can offer a full pound to you for $49.99 including shipping to the US or Canada, IF we have everything we need to create it.

Unfortunately, I don't have any more genmaicha presently, so I couldn't reblend this anyway, but if you are interested, you can send me an email and I will get some genmaicha to blend it for you.
