So here it is Thursday evening and I’m posting the Tea of the Week. And if you haven’t seen the new Star Trek movie yet, RUN to your nearest theater and check it out. It was absolutely amazing–in my opinion, the BEST Star Trek movie EVER, hands down.

On to the tea: it’s one of our awesome caffeine-free honeybush blends, a sweet refreshing blend of organic watermelon and mango flavors with real freeze-dried mango. This is pure, sweet nectar. I’m sure it’s good hot too, but as an iced tea it is a thing of true beauty, just pure refreshment.

Get yours today at Zoomdweebies.com!
Just $8.99 including shipping to the US!

So be prepared, I have a few of those for you this month.

As for this blend, well, despite the silly name, it’s a refreshing blast of tropical fruits and sweet green tea. Chun Mee reportedly means “Precious Eyebrows” and is so named because of the shape of the leaves, hence our “Tropical Eyebrows” name.

I’m not sure if persimmon qualifies as a tropical fruit, but I felt the need to include it here, so I did along with mango, banana, kiwi, pineapple and coconut. Literally translated, “Liu An Melon Seed Tea” due to the shape of its leaves, this green tea yields a light yellow colored cup with delicate vegetal notes.

After trying some of this tea unaltered, I decided that a bit of subtle sweetness would compliment this mildly toasty green tea best, and how could I resist making a watermelon melon seed tea?

The result is, in my opinion, a bit magical. It’s a pity that the supply of this tea is limited, commanding a higher price because I could drink it every day. But this is not an every day tea. This is a tea for special ocasions, to lift your spirits and put a smile of contentment on your face. That’s not very appetizing…

Changing gears… Bananas are very yummy, what’s more, they are yellow and shaped funny.

Our Banana pudding flavored tea also has coconut, which some people dislike in pudding because pudding is supposed to be smooth and creamy and who wants shavings of coconut in there? But hey, it’s better in the tea. And I’m feeling a little loopy tonight and rushing to get this posted since it’s already late, but I think you’re all really going to enjoy this blend–mentions of Haggis and coconut aside.
<div style="background-color:white;border:2px solid;border-radius:25px;line-height:148%;font-size:148%; height:1030px; padding:5px";align:right>There really IS such a thing as a pineberry. Supposedly it’s a strawberry that tastes like a pineapple and looks like the image on our label, which to me looks kind of like what marshmallows would look like if marshmallows were a fruit.

So, of course OUR take on the Pineberry is probably nothing like what a real Pineberry tastes like, which I imagine not very many people would know anyway, but rather what I imagine a Pineberry SHOULD taste like.

I think it should taste like sweet, golden honeybush with accents of pineapple, strawberry and marshmallow–so I created this blend with real freeze-dried pineapple and strawberry bits and marshmallow root. It’s a little different, but then, so is 52teas.

Get yours today at Zoomdweebies.com!

Just $8.99 including shipping to the US!

Curaçao is a liqueur made from the peel of the laraha citrus fruit, which was developed from the Valencia orange. The liqueur is naturally colorless but is often given artificial color, commonly blue. Our Mai Tai is a blend of Yun Wu, Chun Mee and Young Hyson green teas, orange peel and organic flavors. We’re looking for some design and functionality feedback. It might not look like much right now, but this baby has it where it counts.

Our patented device uses small amounts of ultraviolet light and gamma radiation to extract the essence of your tea. It works with every kind of tea, and can produce a perfect cup of tea with a single button press. No more struggling to find the right temperature or steeping time, no more worries about over-steeping. Our super-infuser does all the work and does it perfectly, every time. Plus, clean up is a snap; the tea ash bin pops out for easy cleaning. Everything works on a simple household electrical outlet (battery operated units available soon).

I’m 98% certain this device is 100% safe, but we do need some volunteers to try it out before we go into full production. We are also looking for feedback on the design aspects of the device. It’s a bit bulky and unsexy at the moment. If you are interested in being part of the beta test, please click below to sign up.
