We could only afford to enter ONE tea into the North American (formerly “World” ) Tea Championships this year, but I am very pleased to announce that our Pina Colada Honeybush placed THIRD in the Flavored Herbal Teas category! The tea scored an 81/100, the first and second place winners (honestly, I forgot what teas they were) scored 83 and 82 respectively, so it was a VERY close contest. Go us!
Going a little bananas this week. Too many things to do, and not enough time to do them in, so I felt it was appropriate to offer our Monkey Fart Honeybush from MySweetHoneybush.com for this week’s Tea of the Week.
Caffeine-free African honeybush blended with real freeze-dried bananas and natural banana flavors. Go bananas with me!
With sincere apologies to my business partner, Stacia, who HATES monkeys (Really, how can you hate monkeys?):

So, we really want you to subscribe to our email newsletter, and we want you to read the posts we send you. I may not be John Grisham, but I think I write some pretty stirring prose about our teas.
So, our free pouch giveaway contest is going to change. From now on, one or more of our posts each month may contain an invitation like the one below. You must actually have the post in your email inbox to reply to in order to win, so if you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to fill in your name and email address under the “Join Our Mailing List” section on our website. You can opt-out any time you like.
New Rules: We will collect responses through 11:59:59PM Central Time on Friday. From all of the correct responses we receive, I will select a winner at random using a random number generator and a count of all of the correct replies. The winner will be announced with the posting of next week’s Tea of the Week.
Congratulations to Caitlin M. who won last week’s email newsletter trivia challenge! Here’s another chance to win:
