It’s back! While supplies last, get your hands on our special St. Patty’s Day blend that may or may not be inspired by a certain fast food chain’s annual milkshake offering. It’s our buttery, smooth Chinese sencha blended with peppermint, spearmint and just enough vanilla flavoring to round off the sharpness of the mints. I consider this one of our most delicious blends and I enjoy unveiling it once a year around this time for our fans. Of course, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can read plenty of glowing reviews on Steepster.com HERE, or you can check out this old video review from NerdiTea below. (I miss her videos.)
In addition to our Shamrock blend, this year we have a limited supply of another treat that I’m very excited to share with our fans. (Though I was kind of tempted to keep it all to myself.)
A couple of regular customers at the tea bar we used to have here in Wichita, started a cool handmade artisan soap business, and they are making a soap that was inspired by and actually USES our Shamrock Tea as an ingredient IN it. How cool is that? Well, the last time they needed a batch of this tea special ordered for their soap, I said, “Why don’t we just swap some tea for some soap and I’ll offer the soap to my customers and tell them about you?” So that’s just what we did.
Here’s what Emerald City Soap says about their soap: “All our soaps are hand crafted in small batches using the cold process method of soapmaking. All our soaps are VEGAN – no animal fats or animal products of any kind are used in our soaps. We use skin-friendly phthalate-free fragrance oils that are made in the USA and held to the highest industry standards. We use natural oxides and clays for coloring. This is REAL soap, not the synthetic, petro-chemical laden commercial detergent bars you see in the big aisle stores. All our products are good for your skin and good for the environment. There are no nasty toxins in our soap that will harm the environment. In other words, IT’S ALL GOOD!”
All I can add to that is, yes, yes it is. My wife and I are spoiled by their soap and the Shamrock in particular is seriously invigorating and awesome–though I may be just a tiny bit biased. We only have a very limited number of bars of this Shamrock soap to offer our customers–a number which may or may not have been higher than what it currently is. (I plead the fifth.) But I would encourage everyone to give them a try–if we sell out before you get the chance to snag one of our bars, please take some time to visit Emerald City Soap’s website: www.emeraldcitysoap.com and check out all of the awesome options they have. Tell them Frank sent you.
