Our subscribers may actually have this tea in their hands before they get the email about it. I got behind on shipping our orders, but went in Saturday and got caught up plus some.
I’ve been running behind lately because we’ve been busy planning the possible re-opening of our tea bar here in Wichita, which seems to me like one of those really stupid things to do that I can’t seem to say “no” to. But that’s life.
This week’s tea is a sweet blend of hay-like shou mei, freeze-dried strawberries and fresh cut peppermint and spearmint along with organic strawberry, mint and bourbon flavors. It reminds me oddly of my grandmother’s house, where she kept a small garden of mint and strawberries on the side of the house.
