Prepare to be seriously WOWed.
Seriously, how can you go wrong with Chai, organic cacao nibs AND the essence of New York Cheesecake?
This is one ridiculously decadent tea! Add a little cream and sugar and I’m betting you will think this blend is too good to be legal. And get this–if you don’t like chocolate, sit tight. I’m about to post a separate, mid-week blend (a bit early)–our vanilla bean cheesecake chai!
Who’s the man? Yeah, you know it. Enjoy!

Tea Tip of the Week
Tea should be stored in airtight containers (such as our convenient resealable stand up pouches), out of direct sunlight and away from excessive heat. If you follow these guidelines, your tea should keep for 12-18 months.
Looking through the list of suggestions in our forum this week, I ran across this suggestion by Sundae1888, and a light came on in my head–THAT’S what that shipment of cacao nibs was about! Sometimes, I must confess, I am a bit like the absent-minded professor. I order stuff to blend in our teas and then completely forget why I ordered it. If you’ve ever made a blend suggestion on Twitter and I’ve asked you to post it on our forum, now you know why.
So, yeah, we got in these amazing organic, raw, all-natural, nothing added cacao nibs, and I just sort of scratched my head and thought, hmm, wonder what I got those for? Well, I got them so we could create this amazing blend as suggested by Sundae1888. I hope our customers and our subscribers will forgive me for doing two chai blends in two weeks, but I couldn’t resist the idea of this blend of our traditional masala chai, cacao nibs, almonds and a hint of cayenne pepper to make things interesting. It certainly seemed a bit more of a cold weather drink, so I thought I better get it out now.
Besides, it’s almost April, which is traditionally when the Mayan people celebrated an annual festival in honor of Ek Chuah, the cacao god. Maybe you think it’s cool that the Greeks and Romans had gods of love and war and other anthropomorphisms, but how cool is it that the Mayans had a god of chocolate? Enjoy!
