Our caffeine-free African Honeybush (If you are still not familiar with honeybush, it is very similar to Rooibos, but a bit sweeter and without the woody aftertaste that rooibos frequently has) blended with organic vanilla beans, organic cacao nibs, freeze-dried strawberry pieces and all natural flavors. Anyway, I was thinking about those lazy summers when school was out and my friends and I would go out to the afternoon matinees, maybe sneak into see more than one show… and the popcorn with pounds of butter and, well, the Raisinettes! I mean, there were those perverts who preferred Goobers, but anyone who knew anything about movie theater snacking, knew that Raisinettes were where it was at.

So, for our tea of the week this week, I’ve concocted a Raisinette inspired blend of premium black teas, milk chocolate chips, organic cacao nibs and sun-dried raisins. Hope you enjoy!

Chelsea actually doing some work.

Honestly, Chelsea is my right-hand girl and I couldn’t operate 52teas or Zoomdweebie’s without her. When she complained (did I mention she is quite whiney?) that we had created Frank’s Apple Cider Rooibos in my honor and Sheri’s Blend for my wife, but no tea bearing her namesake, I said, “Yeah, so?”

After a few more months of whining, I decided that maybe I should spare my ears and let her have her own blend, and this is what she said she wanted: A chocolate covered banana rooibos.

Well, it’s just like Chelsea, a bit sweet and fruity all at once.

So here it is, our Chelsea’s Chocolate Banana Rooibos with caffeine-free African Rooibos, milk chocolate chips, organic cacao nibs and freeze dried bananas. If you guys don’t buy it up and make me reblend it and make it a permanent fixture, I’ll probably have to listen to Chelsea whine about it, so please buy it up.

This is roasted yerba mate with organic cacao nibs and all natural chocolate and malt flavors. It is one delicious energy kick! If you missed our last yerba mate blend, you can read more about mate and it’s properties here. This is our first roasted mate blend. The previous mate blends were made with green yerba mate. The difference in flavor is similar to the difference between a black and a green tea, though the roasted mate still has tiny bit more of a vegetal taste than black tea.

You should definitely check out the link above and read about Yerba Mate and caffeine. We have compiled some interesting information there.
