As we turn the corner into November, it’s hard not to think about the fact that Turkey Day is coming! Just the fact that it is November is enough to start my mouth watering over visions of cranberries, stuffing, turkey and PIE!

One of my favorite southern recipes in the pie category is the pumpkin pecan pie. Because pumpkin pie or pecan pie is entirely too difficult a decision to make, the pumpkin pecan pie offers the best of both scrumptious worlds!

I was trying to come up with something suitable for the Halloween holidays, and at the same time, I just received a shipment of real licorice root pieces (which were DELICIOUS just steeped by themselves).

I’m personally not a big fan of licorice in jellybeans and candy, but the licorice root pieces were actually a pleasant surprise. They were sweeter and had less bite than the candies I’ve tried. Paired with our cinnamon bark bits and our premium Indian black teas, I think you will agree, makes a really soothing treat which is surprisingly good iced too!

Since licorice is one of those love it or hate it kind of things, we made an extra small batch of this tea, so get it while you can!
