The holidays are winding down, but here’s a way to put a little holiday cheer in your mug any time you like. It’s our Eggnog Rooibos: caffeine free African Rooibos with natural eggnog flavors, real cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg. This is going to make a great nighttime cuppa, even better with a little splash of milk or cream.

By the way, if you were a subscriber to our tea of the week plan last week and this week, please note that you will receive both last week’s tea and this week’s tea together. Between a mix up with our label printer ink, the holidays, and a nasty snowstorm, we got a little behind. Sorry for the inconvenience, but look for both teas in your mailbox soon.

So, we really want you to subscribe to our email newsletter, and we want you to read the posts we send you. I may not be John Grisham, but I think I write some pretty stirring prose about our teas.

So, our free pouch giveaway contest is going to change. From now on, one or more of our posts each month may contain an invitation like the one below. You must actually have the post in your email inbox to reply to in order to win, so if you haven’t already done so, please take a moment to fill in your name and email address under the “Join Our Mailing List” section on our website. You can opt-out any time you like.

Email Contest!

The tenth individual (one reply per person, please) to reply to this post via email with the correct answer to the following question will receive a free pouch of tea! Question: One story that attempts to explain the etymology of the term eggnog, says that it was originally “egg-and-grog” shortened to “egg-n-grog” and finally “eggnog”. What does the “grog” portion of this story refer to? (Hint: Visit Wikipedia’s article about Eggnong).
