In thinking about the best tea to pair the blueberries and pears with, I naturally gravitated towards the green rooibos. It has a kind of tart/citrusy flavor to it which goes great with the blueberries and pear. Last time we offered a green rooibos (Strawberry Green Rooibos Experiment) it was as a midweek blend and it sold so fast, I barely got to try any for myself. So, I just got in some GREEN (non-oxidized) rooibos. I had never tried this before so I wanted to see what it was like. I’m not sure why I didn’t order enough to make it one of our tea of the week offerings, but I was just thinking I wanted to try it out. Anyway, I have two pounds of it, and after a few tasting sessions and some of your suggestions on Twitter, I thought it would be best with strawberry. So we’re giving it a whirl.
