Lemonbushomile

Here’s something a little different this week. If you have been watching 52teas for any amount of time, you’ll already be aware of my love affair with honeybush. Well, we have made it official and launched our newest brand and website: MySweetHoneybush.com.

I love creating new honeybush blends so much, that I decided we needed a new platform just for my honeybush blends. You will find all kinds of honeybush blends on the new website, with more to come. So, by way of introduction to the new site, here is our Tea of the Week for June 28th, 2010, MySweetHoneybush.com‘s Lemonbushomile.

And WOW, you guys are going to LOVE this. It is red honeybush blended with chamomile, lemongrass, lemon peel, hibiscus, lemon myrtle, and natural lemon flavors. It is SOOOO delicious and relaxing, hot or iced. Personally, I am not a huge chamomile fan, but blended with the sweet red honeybush, it is amazing!

So, go visit our new website to see all of the cool honeybush blends we are creating. The Lemonbushomile is available there and (temporarily) here. Enjoy!

PUCKER UP! It’s our LEMONIEST blend yet!

Caffeine-free African Honeybush (Red AND citrusy green) blended with lemon peel, lemongrass, lemon verbena, lemon myrtle, lemon balm and natural flavors. It’s like an all-in-one Arnold Palmer! And it is delicious.

Your going to want a quiet hammock or a nice shade tree to lean on in the grass, oh and a good book. This tea is a great escape from the mundane.

04.19.10 Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Honeybush

I’ve been itching to post this one all week. I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of it. Thanks to my mother for the awesome suggestion. We were talking about what we should do for a Mother’s Day blend this year and this is what she suggested. Honestly, I can’t recall my mom ever actually baking one of these, but my grandmother did, and it seems a mom-ish sort of thing. Either way, it’s DELICIOUS!

Our caffeine-free African Honeybush (I know this is two Honeybush blends in a row, but I couldn’t resist), blended with dried pineapple and just a touch of freeze dried cherries and natural flavors. We’ve included the natural essences of cake, pineapple, brown sugar and even a hint of maraschino cherry to top it all off.

Not only are we offering a great blend this week, but in honor of Mother’s Day, we will send it to your mom FREE with any gift Tea of the Week subscription. Now through Mother’s Day, order any Tea of the Week subscription (starting at just $47 for six weeks of tea delivered anywhere in the US or Canada), and we will send a pouch of our Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Honeybush as an added bonus! Check out our Tea of the Week plans HERE. Your mom will love you for it. (Well, okay, your mom will probably love you anyway, but I bet you would be her favorite for a little while!)

Neapolitan Honeybush

It’s starting to warm up, so I hope you will forgive me if I got sidetracked thinking about ice cream, but wow, is this GOOD!

Our caffeine-free African Honeybush (If you are still not familiar with honeybush, it is very similar to Rooibos, but a bit sweeter and without the woody aftertaste that rooibos frequently has) blended with organic vanilla beans, organic cacao nibs, freeze-dried strawberry pieces and all natural flavors. This is a real treat hot or iced!
