Pancake Breakfast Black Tea!

Tea Description: This tea is one of our very best sellers - so much so that we've made it part of our permanent collection (aka D's Teas!) It's been sold out for a couple of months & I've not been able to reblend it because I've been out of some of the necessary ingredients to do so. Now that I have those ingredients in stock again, I decided to not just reblend it, but to make it a tea of the week for March 2021 - because it occurs to me that some of our subscribers may have not tried our beloved Pancake Breakfast tea!

As this tea is part of our permanent collection, this tea has been reblended several times. Our previous description of this tea said: 

Because the love for this tea is so strong, we stuck closely to the original recipe.

One difference is that we're utilizing different teas in our black tea base. I think you'll notice the difference and I'm confident you'll feel this was a change for the better! We've made a really yummy thing even better!

And since this is part of our permanent collection, I see no need to change the recipe now. This is every bit as tasty as it's been throughout the years. A blend of rich, robust black teas together with a sweet, slightly starchy pancake-y flavor with a hint of butter & a drizzle of maple syrup. A perfectly delightful way to start your day! It's organic, VEGAN, gluten-free & allergen-free!

This is a tea that I never tire of tasting! I love the nicely round, rich black teas, the sweet maple-y notes, the smooth hint of butter & that distinct pancake flavor. It tastes like a delicious breakfast in a teacup. 

I'm so glad it's back in stock!

to brew: Use 3g of leaf to 12 oz of nearly boiling water (205°F) & allow to steep for 3 minutes. strain & allow to cool for about 10 minutes before you start sipping. enjoy!

I personally prefer this one served hot but then again, I can't recall ever trying it iced. It just always has seemed like a tea that should be served hot. It's so good - a delightfully different breakfast tea, good with cream & sugar if you like your tea like that & it's good served without additions too. I like it with just a little bit of sugar which seems to bring out not only the pancake-y notes but the maple-y notes as well.
