Tea of the Week for November 16, 2020!
Yum! I love the way the flavors of this cup work together. You get the sweet-tart of the raspberry, the sweet, creaminess of vanilla & marshmallow, plus the toasty, earthy notes of yerba mate & together, they create a really fun & energizing drink.
This blend starts with a blend of green & roasted yerba mate. Then I added a bunch of freeze-dried raspberries, organic vanilla bean & marshmallow root. It's really smooth & tasty. It's also organic, VEGAN, gluten free & allergen free!
Taster size is approximately 15g

I'm enjoying this blend. The yerba mate is a little earthy, a little roasty-toasty & just a little herbaceous. The raspberry adds a fun, fruity element to the cup with it's sweet-tart flavor. The vanilla bean & marshmallow root lighten the flavors & gives a sweet, creamy note to the overall taste. Really fun - not to mention INVIGORATING! Drink this when you need an energy boost (but not before you plan on going to bed!)
to brew: give the pouch a shake to incorporate all the ingredients. use 4g to 12oz water. Moisten the mate with a small amount of the cool water (about 1/2 oz), heat remaining water to 175°F & steep for 5 minutes. strain. Cool for at least 5 minutes for best flavor.
I find a teensy bit of sweetener with this helps bring out the sweetness of the vanilla & the bright notes of the raspberry just a bit more than drinking it without sweetener.
